OREWILER ORGANIZES GERMAN VILLAGE ART LEAGUE AND GAINS COMMISSION - by Ryan Orewiler

Ryan Orewiler founded the German Village Art League in November of 2008. The GV Art League will host a premier exhibition entitled "Unify" opening May 22, 2009. The goal for the newly formed league is to unite artists in and outside of Ohio. The show is being juried by the Executive Director of the Columbus Museum of Art. Orewiler has been commissioned by Abbott Nutrition to paint cityscapes of Columbus and Chicago. Two 6' x 2' dyptic (two) panels will be hung in the lobby in Abbott's Easton- Columbus, Ohio location.

Orewiler has also been selected to jury the 25th annual "Art on the Commons" show in Kettering, Ohio this April.

Orewiler was selected to be juror for the 25th anniversary of Art on the Commons in Kettering, Ohio. Over 300 works and over 80 artists submitted.
